Accommodation is close to Evington Village, Leicester General Hospital, Spire (private hospital) & the Leicester Golf Course. Easy access to A47.  If you don’t wish to go into the City Centre there are a great promenade of small shops (M&S Foodhall, Boots, Costa and other small independent shops) in the Oadby Parade (10 mins by car).  Nearby to the Parade is the University of Leicester Botanic Gardens & Attenborough Arboretum and the Leicester Racecourse which hold many events and races throughout the year.  Also located 10 minutes east by car from the accommodation is Leicester Airport/Leicestershire Aero Club & Stretton Circuit (Go karting).

Lovely friendly neighbourhood with a Co-Op, cafe, other small shops, small park and ‘The Dove at Evington Pub and Kitchens’ are just 2-5 minutes’ walk from property.

Less than 5 minutes by car is “Evington Village” on Main Street where you will find the ‘The Cedars’ pub, Evington Library, post office, Morrisons Daily, dry cleaners, pharmacy, hardware store, vintage cafe, Turkish restaurant, pizza takeaway and few other small stores. The Village (small park) also hold some fetes in the summer. Off Main Street is Evington Park.

Evington Park, once a private estate with a large house built in 1836, is just off Main Street. It has a diverse range of facilities: Bowling greens, Cricket field, Ecology area, Nature pond, Orienteering, Outdoor gym, Ping! Tables, Tennis courts, children’s play area, herbal and plant gardens for you to enjoy.

The Evington Leicester Golf Course is further down Main Street, entrance on Evington Lane.

Co-Op conveniently located close by (2 minutes’ walk) with a small park opposite the shop. Easy access to City Centre & train station (approx. 15mins by car) & a direct bus route.
